Information regarding financial assistance schemes provided by the State and Central Government for Minority, EBC, and other eligible students.
Vasantrao Kale College is committed to making higher education accessible. We assist students in availing various scholarships provided by the Minority Development Department and the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE).
These schemes are primarily designed to support meritorious students from minority communities (Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Sikh, Parsi, Jain, & Jews) and Economically Backward Classes (EBC).
Applications for State schemes are processed through MahaDBT, while Central Government minority schemes are processed through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
Target Group: Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Sikh, Parsi, Jain & Jews communities.
Income Limit: Parent/Guardian's annual income should not exceed ₹8,00,000.
Academic: Candidate should have passed the previous examination without backlog.
Target Group: Open category students belonging to Economically Backward Classes.
Income Limit: Annual income limit up to ₹8,00,000.
Benefit: 50% reimbursement of Tuition Fees and Exam Fees.
Target Group: Children of registered labor / marginal farmers / those whose parents' income is up to ₹8 Lakhs.
Condition: Student must be residing in a hostel (Govt/Private) or paying guest accommodation in the city of study.
Target Group: Top 20th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective Board of Examination in Class XII.
Income Limit: Family income should be less than ₹4,50,000 per annum.
